I come to this practice with 10 years of clinical experience as a National Certified Respiratory Therapist working in Washington, D.C. at the Children’s National Medical Center and the Washington Hospital Center as well as the INOVA-Mt. Vernon Hospital of Alexandria, Virginia. I am a licensed massage therapist in Florida(MA53868) and a Registered Craniosacral Therapist #00056. For many years I have taught human anatomy and psychology in professional training programs.
I experienced further exploration into deep somatic healing through the Potomac Massage Therapy Institute, and I am a former member of the Board of Directors of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America.
My study of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy was completed in 1999, when I earned status as a Registered Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Applying tools from the original osteopathic model of Dr. William Sutherland, My passion is introducing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to the nervous system of my clients. I work with infants and children in their home in order to provide a safe and relaxed surrounding.
The primary focus of my cranial expertise includes examining chronic pain manifested throughout the body; attachment problems resulting in trauma held in the body; children and adults suffering from focus and concentration withdraw; and a desire to become more present to self.
